Voting this Fall
Advanced polls open on October 9, 2015. You can find your electoral district and polling locations by going to Elections Canada's Find Your Electoral District page. Enter your postal code to find your electoral district. You can then click on "Where Do I Vote" under the Voting process section of the next page to go a page that will tell you where your polling station is after you enter your address.
Come Prepared with Valid ID
When voting it is important to bring your Voter Card if you have one, as well as valid ID. Everyone in Canada registered to vote should have received their cards by October 1st.
If you did not receive a card, you will need to Register to Vote. There are several ways to do this, including registering online.
If you received a voter card, but need to change your name or address, you need to do this before October 13. (You can also update your address at the polling station on election day, but it is easier to make the change in advance. These changes can also be made online using the link above.)
