Hockey Night in Stouffville
August 8, 2011
On Thursday August 18th the Stouffville Arena will transform into an epicentre of hockey greats as celebrity players pass the puck in order to raise funds to benefit the Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Hockey Night in Stouffville promises to be one of the most exciting events that Stouffville citizens have seen in quite some time.
With hockey celebrities such as Keith Acton (Stanley Cup Champion), Raffi Torres (Phoenix Coyotes), Joe Bowen (NHL Sportscaster), Lance Brown (CTV News Sports Anchor), Gary Leeman (Stanley Cup Champion), Ethan Werek (Phoenix Coyotes) and many more, this is one game that is sure to delight and entertain both rampant hockey enthusiasts and casual observers.
The night is set to kick off with a pre-game community skate from 4:00pm-5:00pm; followed by a pre-game family fun fair from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The main event, the charity game, will commence at 7:00pm sharp and finish at approximately 9:30pm.
Come and visit us, Stouffville Connects, at our booth during the pre-game family fun fair. Our booth will have several fun activities running including our popular Stouffville Speakers Corner. More details to follow.
