Karl says he decided to run for the Libertarian Party because he was "...  tired of having to choose from a selection of parties that are all pretty much the same, offering more government solutions as a way to buy votes."

He believes that Ontario "... would be much more prosperous if the government would get out of the way and allow people who actually have the ability to create jobs and wealth do what needs to be done."
